Employability Skills Guidebooks

Two guidebooks were developed outlining transferable skills and how they can be transferred to other employment contexts, one for Contract Researchers and one for research managers, though both contain some overlapping information. They indicate how Contract Researchers can develop transferable skills whilst employed on projects, and how recognition of these skills can help researchers to gain employment outside of research. They recommend that research managers build time into projects for Contract Researchers' development, that Contract Researchers receive the guidebook as part of their induction documentation, and for research managers to receive their guidebook before putting research bids in, to aid in the planning of Contract Researchers' development.
